Stories from the dining room.

Stories from the dining room, drawn from the restaurant's Roman trattoria character, menu, guest experience, and group dining program.

Group dining

Behind the Curtain: Private Dining at Palazzo

Private dining, semi-private tables, and full venue options give groups a flexible way to gather around handmade pasta and wine.

Groups can gather in the private dining room for up to 22 guests, take a half-room for 12, or talk to us about larger semi-private and exclusive bookings.

Set menus keep the table moving through snacks, handmade pasta, proteins, sides, and dessert, with wine available to shape the pace of the meal.

Occasion dining

A CBD Room for Date Nights and Occasions

Warm light, plush booths, and a conversation-friendly room make Palazzo Salato a natural stop for dates, birthdays, and long city dinners.

Guests come to Palazzo Salato for the food, then settle into the room. The low-lit dining room, marble tables, booths, and walk-in bar give special occasions a sense of ceremony without losing the ease of a city trattoria.

For solo dinners, birthdays, or a table built around pasta and wine, our team keeps the rhythm smooth, warm, and attentive.

Pasta and dining room

Hand-Rolled Pasta and Room to Linger

A closer look at the pasta-led dining room on Clarence Street, from mafaldine and scarpinocc to the long lunches Palazzo Salato was built for.

Our kitchen moves around snacks, hand-rolled pasta, and generously paced dining. Mafaldine with spanner crab, uni butter, chilli, and sea blight sits beside scarpinocc, agnolotti dal plin, and spaghetti alla chitarra for guests who want pasta at the centre of the table.

The room is made for the kind of meal that can stretch from lunch into wine, dessert, and one more conversation before Clarence Street calls again.
